Screen Content Management at Girls day with Boys and Girls Club of Southern Nevada

October 8, 2016
Screen Content Management recently was invited to take part in the Boys & Girls Club of Southern Nevada at the 2016 Girls Day.  Each year, several hundred girls from Clubhouses are matched up with several hundred women from the community. Together, they play a variety of games, enjoy a special meal and win wonderful prizes. Many of the girls come from single-parent homes and the one-on-one attention they receive from the women is a very precious gift.  Each child leaves with some great gifts and as one of the women, I received the gift of some amazing memories!

I was paired up with a Mia, a 10 year old girl from our community.  We talked about loads of things to include our shared family size and both being middle children.  Mia was very attentive to her younger sister and was always watching to ensure her needs were met and she was having fun.  Many community sponsors donated goodies for the girls and Mia proudly took home a new scooter!

Screen Content Management strives to be active in the community as not only is it good business, but its good for our community.  Although this is the first year of Screen Content Management's participation, this is the 35th year of the event.  Click here to learn more about the Boys and Girls Club of Southern Nevada.  Here are some photos of the day, see other photos by searching #GirlsDay35
